At home “Space Camp”
Hello good people! This post is for moms, dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles, babysitters, even preschool teachers?!?! It’s really for everybody :)
Looking for a fun way to do themed hands on activities with your toddler/preschooler? OUR SPACE CAMP WAS A TOTAL HIT!
I planned out “space camp” during the summer of 2020.. back when lock down was “ending” and things were just opening back up— but not really? We were unsure how we felt about being out in public and around even small groups of people so I decided to try and keep things exciting and jumpin’ at home!
Bray and I ended up doing 4 total days of “space camp” Check it out!
Day 1: The Galaxy (painting + writing practice)
DAY 2: Star Constellations
This can truthfully be split into two days! We did one activity in the morning and one after nap :)
DAY 3: The Moon (making moon dough!)
DAY 4: DIY Rocket Ship + Hands-on “space” play
And of course—some activities may need to be modified depending on age!
Space camp was so much fun in our house! If you host a space camp, I hope it brings joy to yours as well!
